Barnhart Balfour Beatty provided Design Build services to construct this $10 million project for the San Diego Convention Center Corporation. The completion of the project allowed the Convention Center to use the facilities in all weather conditions. The Sails Enclosure consists of a 55-foot cantilevered glass wall and fabric roof panels encompassing approximately 99,000 square feet. The project required over 50 move-ons due to the demands of the bookings of convention spaces.
