Sustainability

Barnhart Balfour Beatty is a proud member of the U.S. Green Building Council.  With 48 LEED® Accredited professionals  currently on staff, and many more in the process of becoming accredited, we believe in designing and constructing buildings that increase productivity, improve health, conserve the earth’s resources, and reduce the building’s overall life-cycle cost.   It is these types of buildings that are a highly valued asset for our customers and the communities they serve.

Green building practices also provide owners with environmentally responsible, healthy and prosperous environments.  Sustainable building can reduce energy, carbon and water consumption by 30-50%, and reduce waste by as much as 50-90%.
